In many cases you would like to post events to Loom over HTTPs (SSL). To do that, simply send a POST request with the event data encapsulated in the request body.

Here's an example of how to do this with JavaScript:

var url = "https://{{customer_name}}-data.loomsystems.com";
var xhr = new XMLHttpRequest();
xhr.open("POST", url, true);
xhr.setRequestHeader("Content-type", "application/json");

// the `data` variable holds the JSON object you would like to send

Replace {{customer_name}} with your own (it's the same one you use to access the Loom web-application).

Note that CORS is enabled by default, and all sources are allowed. If you only intend to send data from specific sources, please let us know and we'll restrict the endpoint to only accept data from that source.
