Sophie by default sets up an internal docker network using addresses in the 172.19.0.0/24 space.
Sometimes, this address space might already be in use. When this happens, Sophie will start successfully, but will be unreachable.

To fix this, follow these steps:

  1. choose an address space that is not in use, for example 172.19.14.0/24
  2. stop Sophie by running loom stop --everything
  3. update the /opt/loom/.conf/loom_config.yaml  file - update loom_network_subnet_range to match the chosen address space
  4. open the script under /opt/loom/bin/loom  and change loom_network_subnet_range accordingly
  5. start Sophie by running loom start

Once Sophie is up, it should now be accessible.
