Cisco logs System Messages to the console by default, in a format compatible with 4.3 BSD UNIX. To ship your Cisco System Messages to Loom, configure your Cisco devices to send to a remote syslog server (Loom) at the command line interface by entering:
router1> configure terminal
router1> logging <loom-server-ip>
Of course if you already ship your Cisco System Messages to an existing syslog host or other aggregator, you can forward them from that location to Loom using the method that is best suited to your environment.
