Loom Systems can be deployed on your AWS private cloud server environment. In order to receive your log data, you need to grant Loom access to your server via SSH (port 22) and https (port 443) connections.

Depending on your data volume, the following specs are required:

Loom will share an AMI for you to provision. The size of the VM should be the “r3.large” model (chosen from Amazon’s EC2 Instance Types).

Lastly, you should attach an external EBS (the size depends on your log volume) to the VM and mount it on /var/lib/loom directory (We recommend a minimum of 1TB).

If your log data is stored in AWS S3 buckets, streaming it will be done from Loom’s S3 plug-in, using your AWS credentials.
